Today we’re opening our doors, and our hands.

Open Hands Foundation began with a simple conviction: no one should go without the essentials of a safe and healthy life. Food on the table. A roof overhead. Clean water. Care when you’re sick or in crisis. These aren’t luxuries. They’re the foundation of human dignity.

What we do

We provide basic and critical needs to people facing hardship and crisis. That means:

• Food for families who are going hungry
• Shelter and warmth for those without a safe place to stay
• Clean water where it’s scarce
• Medical care and emergency relief when disaster strikes

We deliver this help directly and through trusted local partners, always with dignity and compassion, never with judgment.

Why now

Need doesn’t wait, and neither will we. Every day, people in our communities and beyond face impossible choices between rent and groceries, medicine and heat. Open Hands exists to close that gap, one person, one family, one essential need at a time.

This is just the beginning. In the weeks ahead we’ll share stories from the field and the people whose lives are touched by this work, so the mission speaks for itself.
